I instantly took a liking to the Selkirk Rex the first time that I saw one

but I did some ground work before deciding to

  have one.

But for me, I like them to have their counterparts (The British Shorthair)

eye colour .

My programme for Selkirk Rex is to keep the true colour lines going, and

that's why I have imported from my dear friends

Lianne and Hans Pons in Holland a Blue Colourpoint Selkirk Rex called Orla,

she also carries the lilac gene, which I want

to keep separate from my 'self' lines.

 Daglo van Brifety

is soon to be our new addition

On these photos he is 6 months old, so he is going to be a big lad!

He is a lilac and he doesn’t carry colourpoint.

He is from the same breeder as Orla, Lianne and Hans Pons in Holland.

ORLA: Curly Orminda Tishkabar van Brifety - Blue colourpoint carrying the   lilac gene and has now proven to be homozygos.

Orla is the first imported colourpoint Selkirk Rex.

TIGI: Romantasy Tishka Twist

a blue and white bi-colour with stunning eye colour which I hope she will  pass onto her babies due in December.

At this point I would like to thank my dear friend Sharon Keegan of Romantasy

for allowing me to have this lovely girl

who is an absolute gem and a very good example of a true Selkirk Rex.
